| Lead Technician Position Type – Hourly/Commission As a senior part or full time field staff, the lead cabling technician supervises the crew (or sub-crew) at the job site, from project inception to completion. This position reports directly to an assigned Project Manager and/or the Manager of the Cabling Division. Duties Include: - Preparation of all necessary project resources (staffing & materials)
- Coordinating of all the implementation requirements to meet/exceed the project timeline and budget
- Maintain a clear, detailed and updated record of all team efforts, changes and client communication
- Maintain a qualitative, efficient, productive and committed effort on the part of the implementation team
- Make sure that all industry standards and project specifications are fully met
- Installation of all type of Voice, Data, Video and Audio cabling, including all associated support systems
- Maintain all safety requirements on the part of the implementation team
- Uphold all of GLOBUS’s rules and guidelines and vigilant that the team does the same
- Recognize up-sale opportunities and communicate to the appropriate parties
- Manage and coordinate proper and efficient use of materials, tools and equipment
- Maintain daily reports (tech/team productivity, punch list, drawings, change orders, minutes, etc.)
- Participate in construction meetings and job walks

General Requirements: - 5+ years industry experience
- 2+ years successfully managing cabling crews and projects
